Great Show as always, many thanks for all the help over this last year with all of your advice.
This has helped my gain 3 new clients in the last 3 days alone, who says there is no money out there, you just got to take action.

Andrew: Why do you always wear T-Shirts that are of too large a size? The seam between the body and sleeve should be at the outboard edge of your shoulder:)
January 13th, 2010 at 4:14 pm
Hi Glen,
I didn’t know you were a t-shirt sizing expert
No specific reason other than that was the size that was given to me!

Hey Andrew,
I just fell in love with your short show which in my opinion is PACKED with very useful info for anyone in business. First of all I run a janitorial business which of course has been slow because of – well you know. but I ran across a new product which cleans & sanitize just using water.
Here is the website for you to review.
activeion.com. Please help me how to promote this innovative product as a service to the commerical & industrial sector.
Thanks so Much as I will continue to watch and tell others about you..

Great show Andrew! I love the tip about the product name that conveys a benefit. My best selling product online is an old-fashioned shaving soap called “Shave me Smoothe”. I always thought it was a great seller because it appealed to the shaving purists but maybe the name has something to do with it too!

Hi Andrew, excellent show. Where can I download earlier eps? itunes doesn’t have before ep #60. Thanks
January 13th, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Could not get the link for free quotes to work.
Any suggestions???
Thanks!
January 13th, 2010 at 9:29 pm
The products you listed was a great example of the use of benefits. I have actually heard this suggestion many times (about using benefits) in the product but somehow it never “clicked” until today. I will start adding benefits to my products today!

The itunes feed is broken. Episode 90 is a repeat of Episode 89. The Title is correct but the video is last week’s video.

This was a great piece of video. Has an abundant amount information someone would want if they owned their own business. The Nifty Clicks section is one of my favorite.

Hey Andrew congrats on another great program. In the case of Myron (sorry if I’ve got it wrong) He should also ask people what would they compare the product with and research those products and pricing.

“talking about inventiveness, This has nothing to do with marketing by the way.”
But Everything is Marketing and Marketing is everything. I am sure there is a marketing lesson in there if you think about it.

Hi Andrew;
Greetings from the Gold Coast of QLD, Australia! It’s 0900 and already 31 degrees. Phew.
I recently relocated to QLD from NSW, and I’m localising into the business community. I get my clients thru networking, referrals, etc.
My site is nothing more than protocol.
However, a collegue is launching his own video production company and needs some examples. Lucky me!
I target start-ups, and small businesses trying to diversify or expand, etc.
I love marketing products and services. But loath marketing myself. Which I know is essential.
How much do you charge for a session?
I need someone to hit my funnybone, lighten things up a bit.

Copying is the highest form of flattery:
Check out the copy from this Intuit webpage advertising QuickBooks Pro 2010:
“Improved! Stand Out From the Crowd with
Fast and Easy Invoice Customization.”
Here’s the link to that page:
http://quickbooks.intuit.com/product/accounting-software/latest-business-accounting.jsp
Check it out – particularly watch the video on that page and listen for some “stand out from the crowd” and “get more done” script lines.
Someone in marketing at Intuit is following your “Help My Business Sucks” lessons and applying them! (-;

Nicely done! There are a lot of small business tips sites but this one is one of the few that I regularly read through my RSS. Only one suggestion regarding videos: could you plz add bookmarks so as to skip directly to the part that’s more relevant?
Thanks a ton.

Thanks for the link for givemore.com. I end each episode with an uplifting and motivational quote, sot this is a great resource for me- thank you =)
January 19th, 2010 at 5:06 pm
Great show as always Andrew. In terms of product names that directly convey benefit to the buyer, how about “Free Marketing Made Easy”? That’s a bit narcissistic of me, I suppose (since it’s my collaboration) but I want to reinforce your point…immediately establishing a beneficial relationship with prospects is so important that we named our company on this principle.
January 19th, 2010 at 11:33 pm
Elizabeth, and Dr Puff,
Many congratulations on launching your holistic success show. You’ve done a great job with it, I’m very impressed. You both come across well on camera, and the show is well put together, very professional.
My only observation for improvement would be that for me at least, the introductory graphics were a little longer, I think that could be tightened up a little.
Great job, kudos to you both for taking action. The show will continue to grow in popularity now.
Regards
Andrew
