Hi Andrew,
I am a relatively new viewer of your show and find it useful. Already i have implemented many of your tips and utilized some of your links.
With regards to your e-commerce suggestions.
We are considering using opencart – an open source tool. Are there any things we should be cautious of when using this kind of solution. We currently use Joomla for our website design and are very happy with that.
Keep up the great work.

Good and very informational video. Specially a free marketing , buying tips are helpful for people who are sitting at home or working from home. The goal tracking site also looks interesting. Its unique and one can actually improve their habits by using it. I will definitely try. The evian water marketing is amazing. The marketing is so smart and really makes to think twice about what you are doing with your business. Selling water and marketing it as moisture replenishment device… Really one needs to be very smart to survive the competition.
Thanks, Andrew, for another interesting and informative show. An interesting marketing technique I observed this year in Turkey for New Years was gift baskets with wine, snack foods, vitamins and arm weights. I guess the exercise equipment will be useful in working off those alcohol calories! I’m really interested in beginning my own online business soon, but I am still in the planning stages. I’ll probably be viewing all of the past episodes that I’ve missed as research material for marketing strategies!
This Nifty Clicks video is so interesting! I can’t wait to try the wonderful websites that Andrew went over- especially habitforge.com….genius! The evian example really makes me think about everything that I buy- HA!
Great show! In regards to E-Commerce, we help businesses with save money with web design, virtual terminals, and shopping carts, working with the Royal Bank of Scotland, and a host of other banks, depending on risk factors. Certain websites will be considered high risk, based on the nature of their transactions. We can help with all aspects of the setup.
There are so many takeaways from the Evian spot! Especially powerful is the idea that 20% will take a premium offer…pair that with the 80/20 rule and that is huge motivation to make sure there is always a premium offer for my clients.
Thanks tons. This was one of the best episodes ever, and that’s saying a lot!
Andrew,
I am a big fan of your show. Please note the section under the video is same as the last show. Please update the content with the new ideas that you are talking about today.
Thank you so much for giving us great marketing tips. You ROCK!

[...] The Magnetic Entrepreneur Monthly.Powered by WP Greet BoxI just watched another AWESOME episode (Episode 89) of Andrew Lock’s Web TV Show “Help! My Business [...]
And a Happy New Year to you too!
I wonder if Costco mgmt all read from the same page or if the “front door” displays are a representation of the neighborhood they are in. My Costco didn’t have vitamins near the front door, but they had plenty of holiday cheer. i.e., Grand Mariner, Champaigne, Cookies, etc. Didn’t see the vitamins close to the door.
Your Evian (Naive) episode gives me an idea for a new blog with affiliate products. That’s exciting, I’ll let you know what happens.
Cheers
I am a new viewer to your show, and I have spent all morning catching up on what I am quickly seeing as a valuable business resource. Your views and insights allows me to evaluate my self and the progress of my new venture.
With that said, I am a new marketing company currently at the tail end of the planning stages. I have a website “coming soon” image on the site now, business plan is complete, infrastructure is in place and sitting at about a $3000.00 budget to get started (keep in mind that we offer web development so that should keep our web costs down)
I would like to see a small segment on starting a business from the ground up – with an embarrassingly small budget. My goal is to turn the $3000.00 into 2 website sales within 1 month of launch.
Thanks for your consideration, and feel free to contact me at my e-mail!
Another great show, Andrew. I loved the Evian spot! It has always bewildered me that people will actually PAY for water. A couple of smart marketing examples in that area come from Coca-Cola & Pepsi who got the brilliant idea a few years ago to start selling the purified water they use to create their soft drinks. Every time someone buys Dasani or Aquafina bottled water they are buying Coke/Pepsi without the carbonation and syrup…and paying the same price, if not more! Go figure.
After all, everything IS marketing, and marketing IS everything!!
andrew really i’m so happy on watching your great stuff.. your marketting technique were amazing.and also thank u for giving us ur great marketting tips..keep updsting ur episode
Hello from Mexico.
About the on line store solution, I agree that Paypal can offer a good option for simple low volume items store. After many years working with ecommerce projects here in Mexico, I’m implementing online store with Joomla and VirutMart. It is easy and fast to setup and manage.
Thanks for the tips and ideas, great show!
When bottled water became big, I always thought I went into the wrong business… now that they’re selling bottled water spray for $15… I KNOW I went into the wrong business
Marketing plain water as something special has always amazed me, but isn’t that what perdue did with chicken so many years ago? When selling a commodity the first rule is always to differentiate.

Honestly I want to informed you that when I fill your pop up form of ” 7 killing methods” after give my e mail id & click on send me report button then your web page seemed all in white & I heard only voice of your video. So I request you to kindly consider the reason of above said problem & also set a link to download a video & send it to friends via e mail.
Let me tell you one thing right now is that I have enjoyed every bit of your program. As the last lines of you that “Everything about a business is nothing but only marketing” makes lot of sense. In general it was an educational 12-minute video stint that I have tried to learn & grasp. Such was your demonstration that I couldn’t resist myself bookmarking this page for future references. I will recommend your site to all the concerned people that I know are there around me. I think we all who want to become successful entrepreneurs should consult your services. Thank you for this wonderful video on online marketing trends & tips. It was a memorable experience.
the video is an awesome piece of information about marketing technique.really cool………for sales executives and a perfect lesson for them that even water can sell, unless you have that skill and somehing for Andrew lock……good dynamic presenter
Great Video! Many of these ideas i hadnt even thought of and yet they are so simple! I especially was interested in implementing free tools such as Google Trends to take advantage of buying trends (the example of Costco putting weight loss/health supplements in the front of their store new years eve was a great example) Great tips!

The old marketing strategy was ‘find a need and fill it’. Evian changed that to ‘create a market, and convince people they need it’. While I don’t buy Naive water, the strategy is brilliant.
Hi Andrew
You have a great video there, helping other people come up in their business, a selfless deed indeed! It has also shown me things i didn’t know!
Nice and friendly approach to business. Everything was introduced with a humorous and light attitiude. The presenter, Andrew, knows how to appeal to an audience. The question was well chosen, one that would appeal to a large audience and well answered – i.e. question answered and suggestions provided. I found the Evian and their “true water experience” piece both interesting and funny. I enjoyed the whole blog to be honest.
Loved the bit about the guy hanging from the house! How funny! Costco is brilliant with their merchandising of weight-loss products. I didn’t know ProStores was owned by eBay! Hm, learn something new everyday, eh? I found this very insightful, thanks Andrew! :]
