This video by Andrew Lock is very useful to me..I come to know many more things .And also the way of explaning is pretty good. This is given by some good musics and cartoons. The quote “MARKET IS EVERYTHING” in his t-shirt shows the goodness of this show.
And, after I wrote that blog entry, I got a thank you note as well as a nice gift (a metal bookmark with a high heel shoe dangling from it) from them. So, I guess I was the lucky recipient of a thank you note that day by one of the employees! Both my experience and my husband’s wonderful experiences with Zappo’s have made us lifelong customers.
Fantastic show! About Elizabeth -one idea for her to find out how much she knows and why she should consider herself as an expert. In a quiet afternoon over a cup of joe (or favorite tea) take a notebook out (not the computer, for some reasons out in the ether when you hand write you trigger the creative side) Write down the things that you do in your business that are creative, you will start finding that you do things that very few people do, then go over why you do it that way and that is part of what makes you an expert. Not just your unique approach but reasons why (that is what a lot of people are in search for)
Great point about measuring the response rates of your marketing like with the BOSE example.
No matter whether you’re running newspaper/magazine adverts, online campaigns, calls into freephone numbers for further info or whatever, you MUST have a mechanism in place to measure your response rates.
The best part of this is that most of this can be done with zero cost too!
Andrew, I love your show! It’s amazing how much someone can learn from you just by watching it for about 20 min a day! I love all of your off-the-wall and innovative marketing ideas, but what I REALLY love are the real world examples of how innovative marketing tecniques can benefit real businesses!
Great job, I look forward to future episodes!

Hey Andrew,
I enjoyed the show today, as always! I have enjoyed past shopping experiences with Zappos.com. I will be using them again.
I also wanted to share something kind of fun. If you go to the people magazine website, http://www.people.com/people/package/bestof2009/0,,20319348_20321808,00.html#flashpollsdivanchor
you will see my wife Sara in a people magazine Celebrity look-alike poll. Check it out and tell me what you think. Thanks for all of the business insight.

Both last week and this week I requested your “7 Killer Methods for Marketing Without Money” guide by filling in the form you noted in your email.
(BTW: the pop-up was VERY annoying – if you have the form and the submit button in your email, make it work directly — without all the “show-off” crap.)
So here i am, your video is over, your backstage elves have had their “several minutes” — and still, for the second week in a row — I have NO EMAIL FROM them.
So, I don’t know whether to ask you to personally intervene in your elves’ work habits — or to ask for a job being one of them! Would I get the $2000 if I declined the job?
Well anyway, I love the show and have watched it since episode 1. But, could you please send the guide…?
Unfortunately there’s no perfect technology and sometimes the report doesn’t get through spam filter etc. I checked and it was sent out, so something must have intercepted it. I’ve sent you an email with the report attached.
As for the popup overlay on the homepage, it will only display once as long as you have cookies enabled and don’t delete your cache file. Some browsers are set to empty the cache when they close, in which case the site thinks you’re visiting for the first time.
This video is really useful.First I thought it is going to be something what we know already with some patch works.
But this is not so.Its something new which makes people concentrate on stuffs that brings lots of change in the current strategy. Also these techniques are not so tough to implement and out of pocket.
Of course, I really liked sush type of video presentation. It is interesting to watch and really useful in practic. Just step by step manual to success.
Thanks for providing such an useful video, an interesting and inspiring one for young and old. I think this video can change the perspectives of many job seekers and can drag them to the real world of business. Many fear to adopt new ways. They just follow the path laid by others. This limits their profit. Breaking the walls that others built is the best way to maximize profit in business. Keep providing such informational videos. Thank you once again.
Ya, i watch this video fully. It was really very interesting. the video was fully hosted by Mr.Andrew Lock (Maverick Marketer). the full video is about marketing. He give me seveal tips and tricks about marketing. Its really very useful to me and surely i will follow those ideas in future.
Andrew you have a great resource for me that’ll help me to create a simple but good looking website for free. This is a particularly good resource if i need a quick personal site for myself or my clients.
i really amazed with ur video. this is not just a ten minute video, but really a useful message to those who wont opt for the own business always and for those who sek the help in their improvement in their life.
thank you so mush. i would like to continue watching the similar videos by you in future.
Another great show Andrew. For Elizabeth I would also offer specific advice around building her personal/professional brand. Done right, she can create a highly professional appearance that will create a ‘wow’ first impression to prospects of any size. If she hasn’t already done so, she can create a website, case studies and testimonials that will help those doors open. Best of all, these things require very little investment.
A well wrought video for all people who would have fear in their life to take risks. This video would change the run of the mill life of the common man . An inspiring video indeed and it would change the stereotype life method into a pomp manner. Fine with the speech of the video and it would have a great change ever in future.
cotbiz.tv create the best perfomance.i watch this video fully. It was really very interesting. the video was fully hosted by Mr.Andrew Lock (Maverick Marketer). the full video is about marketing. There are a lot of innovative and creative marketing ideas presented; however, I feel like this is more of an advertising ploy for “Zappos,” rather than something meant to help the “little” people such as myself. I don’t understand how this is supposed to help.
It was great to know about the field of marketing .Thanks for Andrews for guiding through the subject.I hope that I can use the tips provided in the video in future.
This video provided me more useful information. Thanks very much for providing such a video. I got more information on marketing strategies. moreover the information given about
zappos was very much interesting. I will ask my friends also to watch this video.
Hey Andrew,
Thanks for the video. This is the first time that I have seen a video that doesnt make false promises, instead it tells you to work in an efficient way and make money of course..Well done..Tracking of marketing tip was indeed very helpful and I am sure I will make the free website tonight. Thanks again.
Good show mate. And I haven’t purchased anything from Zappos; however, I continue to hear from several sources how awesome there customer service is. By the way, the ‘advertise here’ link from buysellads seems to be missing for your site.
Cheers!
Ordered a pair of shoes, online, from Zappos at 6:40pm. Yes, that was PM. The next morning at 10:30am the UPS guy was knocking on my door with the delivery. I was blown away for it had been less than 16 hours from when I placed the order!!!! Also, there was a “return label” in case I needed to return them. WOW – GREAT customer service and I told many of my friends and patients.

Hi Andrew–
I had an amazing experience with Zappo’s this past April when I ordered my first pair of shoes from them. I wrote about my experience here in my blog:

And, after I wrote that blog entry, I got a thank you note as well as a nice gift (a metal bookmark with a high heel shoe dangling from it) from them.
