Hi Andrew,
Once again a fantastic show – looking forward to reading you free report – you always deliver the gems. Thanks also for sharing your story – an encouragement to never give up -okay okay I’ll try not to get too emotionally carried away
In response to Manuels question (hope I wrote your name correctly). There is a service that I distribute that does exactly what he is talking about and includes video directly integrated with email, autoresponder campaigns, live broadcasting and so on. (link is in my name).
Have a fantastic day.
Loved hearing your story. It is always encouraging to hear how others have “made it” and the nugget from yours is that it is worth reaching out and asking to work with / barter with those who can serve as mentors or help pull you up to the next level. Bravo!
Thanks for sharing your story! It was very interesting and I’m glad to see you are experiencing so much success. It’s awesome you found something you not only enjoy, but that you can also earn a nice living from.
Besides EZS3, you can also check out S3MediaPlayer from Mike Stewart. It costs more to start, but the monthly fee is less. I don’t use either option at this point…just free YouTube.
It is interesting to note that few entrepreneurs were born with a silver spoon in their mouths.
Which leads me to think- is entrepreneurial-ism a trait that always gets lost in families?
I grew up very middle-class, have a successful business, so I can give my kids a good life. What would motivate them to strike it out on their own? Not to mention, they’d always have a job in my company!
Do you have kids? What do you think about this concept?
You say “not to mention, they’d always have a job in my company!” This is all well and good, however, make sure that they have the opportunity and learning experience to work for another employer in your industry so that they see how real life works rather than just working for mommy. My wife works for a company in the insurance industry where the owner/CEO is the grandson of the founder and has never worked for another employer. He is a hard worker, but he doesn’t recognize the need for his employees to have a life other than working in his office. She has been called in on Sunday to work! He has also installed servelance cameras at each desk so he can check on everyone using his laptop if he is out of the office!! I surely hope that the market turns around soon so that she can find other employment.
Of course I can relate to your personal story. I also ended up broke -but with no where to live and a wife and infant- after changing careers and running out of money! from there though it led me into a whole new life and new business which is thriving!
Great show Andrew. I believe that part of your “brand” is your friendly manner and down-to-earth guy. Telling your story today was right in line with that. Hearing it was also encouraging.
Glen,
The move to Salt Lake happened almost by accident. We went on a road trip with some friends and discovered Salt Lake in the process. It was the right time to move from Southern California which was over run with traffic, pollution etc. We’re very happy in Salt Lake by the mountains with clean air and a much better quality of life.
Mark, John, and Pete,
Thanks for sharing your resources with Manuel (and the rest of us).
Tony,
Cliff notes is a publication that condenses textbooks etc. I could have related the story over a longer time with a lot more detail but I tried to boil it down to the major events! I didn’t want to bore anyone
Ellen,
No we don’t have kids. Did you see the book I mentioned in episode #81 I think it was? I don’t think you can push any kids to be entrepreneurs, but if they exhibit tendencies then it should be encouraged in my view.
Lawrence,
Congratulations on your success, that’s great to hear. A trial like that also helps you appreciate what you’ve got, wouldn’t you agree?
Great show as always, Andrew!! I loved hearing your story, and the timing was perfect for me. I started my business 6 months ago, so my wife and I are really starting to feel the pinch from missing my old paycheck. I see potentially huge growth for my business, and I enjoy the weekly tips and encouragement I get from you!

This video is more motivative by the story of the author, his strong willingness to do his entrepreneur management techniques quiting his cameraman job.
The program which was told by the author the grasshopper is too good the features are attractive.
The question and answers section in the video is very interactive and useful for the coming entrepreneur.
Great information buddy.
You have very insightful shows with good customer focused nuggets that apply to any size business. Doing the right thing for the customer each and every time generates great word of mouth and customer evangelists.
Another useful Twitter tool is TweetGrid.com by JazzyChad Network. It’s free and a great multiple, real-time, tweet search tool.
ANDREW!! Thank you SO much for featuring my little app as your nifty click! Amazing!!! I hope people will get some great use out of it. It’s totally free so enjoy it!

Andrew, I am so glad that I found your web show. I have learned a ton from you in only 3 weeks. Keep up the good work. You have inspired me to do my own show soon.
I had recently been granted the privilege of being one of your success stories.
Just a funny relating story about some of the crap that seems to happen to us entrepreneurs.
In 7 days, this happened to me. (After a successful marketing campaign that got me on andrews show)
Day 1: Car is stolen while at a opening week party at a new nightclub within west edmonton mall (where my tanning salon is located)
Day 2: Report car as stolen. Car is found severely damaged, Since I had driven the car through the parking lot at one point of the night (its a big mall, going around is just faster and easier by car sometimes) The police want to assume that I did the damage, that was done to my car while missing, and want to charge me with hit and run.
Day 3-5 go through a weekend of having no car, and little communication with police about their pleasant distrust and attempt to end my life as I know it.
Day 6: Find out that my landlord, whom happens to also be a business owner, has fled the country and not paid their income taxes in years. Did I find this out from her though? No. I found that out from the six pieces of paper firmly taped to my door, telling me that the government can ignore landlord and tenancy laws, and that I am to be out by 11 am the next day.
Day 7: At 4 am finish moving into the back room of my tanning salon, and sleep for 4 hours, to go meet police, where I finally convince them that I have not in fact, been the thief of my own car.
And the saga is unfolding for me daily, and it will all be fine, but its a whoooooole lotta extra crap to deal with and makes for a hell of a story. haha
I like hearing your story. I also have a success story of my own. My question was featured in the “Ask Andrew” segment on episode #36. Since then I learned that my website was developed in flash template. But I also learned strategies to improve SEO by including meta tags in the anaylytics section of my portal admin.
Long story short our Steelband has received steady paying jobs this year. I have had many people tell me that they found our site by doing a random google search.
We have also subscribe to niftyclicks.com and currently use mint.com, marketing prof, grasshopper.com and learned other strategies to generate business in the Washington, DC area. Thanks Andrew I really trust your brand and will continue to watch the shows.
I recommend you to get some time off, I loved your show since the first episode, but now I think the air is out, no inovative marketing-news, old storys over and over.
also the gotbiz doesnt run, you have such a high investment in time and I think also money to build the studio and then nothing happen there.
so highly recommend:
redesign everything
the show here and got biz
and bring some more highend marketing with academic knowledge, because your “Maverik-Style” is getting a little bit borring IMHO
Hi Andrew, when listening to the show, I felt that you were talking to me directly !
I’m a casting director and have my own studio where I cast models and actors for TV commercials ! And I direct and do camera work and editing !
I’m too into card magic !, and I’m a member of the SVI in Venezuela which stands for “Venezuelan Illusionist Society” !
I bought an Ipod Touch and never used it for months, as a matter of fact, I’ve never opened ! and one day my wife discovered it in the closet and ask me about it, and I told her the truth, that it was mine, but I never opened and bla bla bla, but didn’t believe me, so to stop the fighting, I finally opened !
I knew a could fill it up with music, but I wasn’t into that, so, playing around with it, I went into the I Tunes Store and found your Podcast !, THAT was my turning point !!! I always knew that I wanted to do business on the internet and somewhere inside of me I knew I would end up doing it, but I had no idea of how or where to start !
So I became a HUGE fan of your podcast, I bought ALL the past editions of Microwave Marketing and started studying IM ! Became a member of Nifty Clicks ! Which is has been an incredibly tool to help to actually get things done !
Now I’m starting to do Affiliate Marketing and putting out there some informational products of my own and I will record my first podcast next week ! All of this thanks to the inspiration I’ve received from listening to you and studying the info of the podcast and my monthly issues of MWM !
Thank you sooooooooooo much for being my inspiration, and now for sharing your story, to which I can relate a 100% !
Kind Regards to you and Luci !
the informations you share through this, is precious for every one.iam also delighted to read your remarks.hope you would keep up the good work for us.you are an inspiration for everyone to start something.
You have struggled a lot to achieve your goal.Your hardwork and involvement in your work definitely inspires me and others who watch this video.Congats.And you have presented a wonderful and very informative show and I am very eagerly looking forward to your forthcoming shows. This video on how to
post videos, twitter tool and Winco’s marketing lesson you presented was of great information to me. I started using tne twitter tool desk tweet that you presented in nifty clicks after seeing your video and now I am able to post a tweet more easily than before. Thanks a lot.
Bernd I have to disagree. Maybe you have learned enough to feel like you don’t have to learn anymore but I personally find something out of each episode, and especially Microwave Marketing Though Andrew, I’m sure you could use a vacation, LOL, who couldn’t?!
@tammy: you are right, vacation would be great. I love this show and thats why I recommend to move from the “maverik”-things to more serious marketing. the maverik ist nice at the first sight, but then it is IMHO not really correct from a ethic point of view. okay, hard to tell what is “ethic” in marketing, but to much maverik isnt good IMHO. and when you see the guys like Yanik Silver etc, it is like all the “Herbalife-Bullsh§”"!”§”
so Andrew please dont get me wrong, I think your Show has more potential than just the “Maverik”
Loved your show. I can relate to your story. I have started a small business and its not really doing great. Going through the same phase. But I got inspiration from your story and I really hope that I ll do great in coming years.
Thanx for sharing your story.
I really thought that the video was cool and helpful. My mom is going throgh the same thing with her business.I will be forwarding herto this video.:) Thanx
Hi Andrew! Looking forward to reading your eBook. Thank you for the treat : )
I loved your story of how you ended up coming to the U.S. Welcome to the USA! If I may ask, how did you decide to live in Utah of all places? You should’ve stayed in California : )
Can you perform some magic tricks for us sometime? I’d sure love to see some…
Glad to hear WinCo is out in your area now. We have them where I live and it’s a very decent store. You’ll save a lot of money there.
I’m a big fan of your show! Although I’m not a fulltime entrepreneur YET, I find your lessons very useful. I use them to boost my career within the Royal Netherlands Navy. I always try to stand out of the crowd by doing my job a creatively as possible and be more efficient and effective than my my co-workers (get more done and have more fun)!
Hi
This is very fun and enjoying my self, very great business sucks of moments to have, and the guy said most valuable ideas and information.this is very wonderfull information to my life.i am a business man i was very eagerly to enjoy this and very good lessions.
i find it very useful for leading my business career. i’ll be viewing it frequently in future. moreover , this is one of the videos i watched more than a time. i’ll definitely recomment my friend to view this..
thank you.
#58 Wayne says: “You should have stayed in California”! Do you know why they call California ‘The Cereal State’? When you take out the fruits and the nuts, all you have left are the flakes!
You are far better off in Utah, Andrew.
It’s good to hear the success stories of people who have made their life a great honor like you.
You have very well focused on providing the essential tips that are required in order to earn money and gain access to success quite easily. The way you have delivered these things are really superb.
I congratulate the efforts taken so as to improve the success rate of other people in their life.
Your story is very interesting and exciting for me. It will helps my business carrier. Thanks for you to sharing it. I have to reccomend my friends to view this….
My wife and I lost our jobs 9 months ago and decided to take my part time hobby, business development and marketing, full time as a business. We have spent the last 6 months working on a program called “Backyard Marketing.” I have this talent to work closely with small business owners and work well with different personalities which helped create this program. I’m happy I found you and your site because your natural talent in marketing will be a benefit to our program. Great Video.
Thanks firstly for ensuring that you have a different t-shirt for each episode (it makes searching through your site much easier) but more importantly for sharing your professional history.
I’m in the first few weeks of taking the decision to go it alone in my own business and just to hear your experiences gives me the sanity check I need.
Thanks again – I look forward to learning more from you.
Hi Andrew!
From last year I’ve seen few ads like Winco supermarket in Japan. The ads have been produced by SEIYU, also supermarket. Till then I’ve never seen such comparison ad in my life!
Their ads are almost same as Winco’s but they also compare the receipt with their own previous receipt: i.e. today’s receipt and the one in last year.
Especially recently I feel like we’re standing in big deflationary spiral!!

Bernd I have to disagree. Maybe you have learned enough to feel like you don’t have to learn anymore but I personally find something out of each episode, and especially Microwave Marketing
Though Andrew, I’m sure you could use a vacation, LOL, who couldn’t?!

Keep up the good work and the great shows!
Happy Thanksgiving, Andrew!

Hi Andrew,
I’m a big fan of your show!
Thanks!

#58 Wayne says: “You should have stayed in California”! Do you know why they call California ‘The Cereal State’? When you take out the fruits and the nuts, all you have left are the flakes!
You are far better off in Utah, Andrew.

Hello Andrew,
Thanks firstly for ensuring that you have a different t-shirt for each episode (it makes searching through your site much easier) but more importantly for sharing your professional history.
I’m in the first few weeks of taking the decision to go it alone in my own business and just to hear your experiences gives me the sanity check I need.
Thanks again – I look forward to learning more from you.
Kind regards,
Susanne (UK)

Excellent story.
Lessons Learned:
1. Follow your passion.
2. If you can’t afford the seminar THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
3. Seek the absolute best for good advice.
