Great episode this week. I especially liked the solutions you gave for the training videos and the hotels.com reward program sounds great.

Like always your shows are outstanding. Personally I’ve been a PC user most of my computer life but I had it with Microsoft, I am recently transitioning into web base apps such as google docs, etc and I will get an IPhone and a Mac.

I am a big mac fan. I use both mac and pc but macs are by far my favorite kind of computer.

Andrew – Great show as usual! Mac doesn’t hack it in my industry. I am a commercial real estate broker and many of the programs that I must use are not available for Mac. I have also attended many training sessions where laptops are required, and the instructor spends more time helping the one person who shows up with a Mac than the total of the two dozen others who are running Windows. Is Windows perfect? Of course not, but owning a Mac is kind of like driving a ‘right hand drive’ car in a left hand drive world!

Love your show as always, Andrew! Great stuff! My opinion on computers? Here we go: Mac totally sucks (always has, always will) and Windows rocks! I love my Vista and wouldn’t change it for anything : )
November 11th, 2009 at 4:26 pm
I’m a MAC convert as of last year when my Toshiba laptop crashed and I had to upgrade to Vista (ugh!) and upgrade MS Office (double-ugh!). Bought a MAC to match my iphone and I will never go back. I still keep a PC for the one or two programs that I just couldn’t live without.
BTW, when I listened to Steve Jobs at a private presentation he gave to one of my clients a few years ago, he envisioned a world where everyone had two computers – similar to the cars in a few of our garages where we have the PC workhorse and the MAC was the high-end BMW computer. Low and behold, I am now Apple’s target demographic!

I’m a VERY happy MAC convert/evangelist!
I use VMWare Fusion for the few PC programs that don’t crossover.
MAC may not be perfect but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my business.

Another great show Andrew! Thanks for the tips.
There are good reasons why Apple only has 6% of the market after all these years…

Win vs. Mac? Simple. Use Linux!

Wow, great resources with the DVD Q & A. That is astoundingly inexpensive. Almost makes me want to record something worth selling

I know I will stay with windows anyday. Been raised up on windows, but I am a bit tempted by MACs, the sleek looks, etc. Thanks for the great tips on selling those DVDs online, looking forward to using that service.

Enjoy your show immensely. I was a long time PC user since the beginning but became so fed up with the Microsoft operating system I converted my old PC to LINUX and bought a Mac about a year ad a half ago. Unless Apple really messes up I will never go back to a PC with Windows format.

I think that your blogs contain a lot of useful information, however, I feel like you are trying to “sell” all these different services. If you could go a little more indepth into the the innerworkings of each product or maybe point out some flaws and/or possible fixes to these flaws I think I would enjoy these videos much more. But still, very informative and useful information, thanks!!!

Hi Andrew! I’m from Tokyo.
Not many Japanese broadcasters/anchors can express their real thoughts. So I like your “piquant delivery” really!

Macs are way better then pcs. Apple creates there own software making it more efficient then windows software which is shared with how many other different computers throughout the world. microsoft marketing is horrible as well. They feature commercials with children using their software, like thats going to make an adult or anyone feel better for not being able to use their software. They have people who know nothing about computers go into a store, rip on a Mac and then buy a generic PC. The new windows 7 ads have people proclaim they “came up with the new windows 7,” is that maybe because windows cant come up with their own idea to make their product better?
Hi may name Durand and im NOT a pc! (thank goodness) Love the show by the way Andrew!
