Reseller of electronics to retailers, such as bill counters, coin sorters, vending machines, etc.

2. What marketing ideas have you learned and implemented from watching the show, and what have the results been?
Over and over again… the idea of standing out from my competitor by just a slight margin (“…do it a little better…”) helps me to focus on what I NEED to do to surpass my next closest competitor instead of wasting my time doing a bunch of theoretical marketing that MAY result in a market share jump. My first success was on eBay, becoming #2 in my competitive B2B category in monthly sales by applying multiple HMBS techniques to stand out from my competitors… within one year (and with ease, I might add). It’s been great! Capitalizing on this success, my other sites have also seen growth rates of 30-50% annually while becoming more visible and trustworthy to my potential clients with strong benefit statements to help conversion.

3. Why are you a good candidate for the Magical Mastermind Experience over the next 12 months?
Given the results I’ve seen across my sites, I am looking to step up to the next level and really stand out from my competitors while entering new markets I’ve identified and acquiring market share from my new competitors. Keep in mind, I’ve used no PPC or social media marketing to any of the above mentioned sites and realized growth that allowed me to become full-time within 18 months — without any coaching or outsourcing.
From a mastermind perspective, I can contribute substantial eBay fixed-price experience, have flexible availability for travel and meeting, and I’ve found I work best within small ‘think tank’ groups that apply and test various marketing methods — giving back just as much as I learn from sharing and collaborating.

1. What business are you in? Software developement and consulting.

2. What marketing ideas have you learned and implemented from watching the show, and what have the results been?
After a client pays the invoice, I send them a DVD of the source code they had me do. I now use a lightscribe dvd burner to imprint my website and phone number. Thus, any other people who look at their DVD will also have my info. This idea comes from the shipping boxes with the company’s name on it (like Amazon and Lands End)

3. Why are you a good candidate for the Magical Mastermind Experience over the next 12 months?
I would like to udnerstand how to grow my business and take it to the next level of hiring compentent contractrors or employees while maintaining a good quality servcie to my customers. Since practically of my business is word of mouth, I would like to better understand business growth in how it relates to marketing.

I have been doing consulting since 2000 and I have been running my own business since 2002. I am quite skilled at what I do as well as managing many acitivities with work and home (I have 8 children), so I definitly understand different needs for different people at different times.

A video that gives you alot of information but the format is cheesy a unbelievable. I didn’t find it helpful as I think it has the feel of ‘get rich quick’ even though it is not. It is quite interesting to find the out about the different resources used for the show but think the format could be more interesting.

I love this site! I’m brand new to internet marketing. I’ve just about finished creating my online, family magazine, and now I’m concentrating on how to advertise it.

I hadn’t thought of joining the social sites to give my website exposure, but when Twitter was mentioned here, a light suddenly came on in my head. Social sites are probably a great place to get to know people and have them get to know you and what you do.

Thanks to this site, I’m going to start doing that right away! I’m also going to keep coming back here, for more hints, every chance I get.

This is a great show. The presenter is charismatic and humourous. I enjoyed the various portions of the show, especially the “Nifty Click” segment. #3 While I new to running my own business, I think I bring a considerable amount of energy and experience to my business.

I particularly liked the urging of the host to the viewers to use testimonials in their product advertisements. Your advice on to produce an effective TV commercial was very insightful and helped me focus on how to approach projects like this.

great show as always, love it, well I am your man for the MMG, I tell you why

I run a martial arts dojo and I am M.D., this are two areas where it is not really allowed to advertise. First in the martial arts one who makes serios business doesnt advertise in the clasical way, and as M.D. it is forbitten by law.

So I have to do marketing without advertising, and thats why I like your quote “M. is everything and M is everything”

So I am curently watching all your episodes and write down all your ideas and see how I can implement them in my work.
