Episode #31 - I received some sad news this week - my grandmother passed away, so I headed off to England at short notice to support my family, but before I left I pulled all the stops out to get this episode out to you - I’ve never missed an episode and I didn’t want this week to change that.
I start off this episode with the most unconventional piece of investment advice you’ll hear from anyone, including Jim Kramer ;). By the way, I just bought a Nintendo Wii, hence the t-shirt. I don’t really work out every day (I’d like to though).
The viewer question relates to something that many business owners face - what to do in the slow seasons in a seasonal business. I think you’ll find my suggestions helpful if you’re in that situation. Don’t get bogged down with the specific niche under discussion, instead learn from the PRINCIPLES and apply them to YOUR business.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hope she went peacefully into the light.
Another excellent video as always but I have a nitpik. The Viddler ads are irritating and distracting to the extent that it impacted my viewing pleasure and concentration. Unlike most commercials on TV they play during the content presentation and that just distracts from your message.

I must agree with Phil, as I’ve found myself looking at the Viddler ads and wondering what they have to do with your current subject. Oops! They not SUPPOSED to be related, but by the time I remember that, I’ve already missed out on something you said.

Don’t worry, I hear you loud and clear and I completely agree with you. Viddler sprung the ads on me over the last few weeks and they’re extremely irritating, especially as they’re not relevant.

I love this video and it inspired me to go out and do great things with my life, and be kind to those around me. It taught me to keep my friends close yet my enemies closer!
