Episode #19 - I managed to dodge Hurricane Fay in Florida.  It was VERY wet but we had a great time at the Magical Marketing Experience at Disney World.  Congratulations again to the winners Pete Genot and Louie Bernstein.

I talk about a HUGE postcard I received in the mail.  It really stood out, I had to read it.  The sender had no relationship with me so they did something that stood out from the crowd!

The viewer question from John Morgan is all about how to approach potential joint venture partners.  I show the right way and the wrong way of going about it.  Most people do it the wrong way ;(

Have you heard about the Star Trek themed dentist in Florida?  I’m not kidding!  Discover what they’re doing and why, as well as a BIG marketing lesson from The Hard Rock Cafe.  Luci and I were at the Hard Rock at Universal Studios in California, and we were impressed.  You probably know about their theming - the guitars all around the walls, the stage outfits, the Elton John wigs… but that’s just the most obvious  elements.  There’s a ton of great marketing that goes on behind the scenes to create a memorable experience at Hard Rock locations.  I’ll share some of the insider secrets with you…

  1. Hey Andrew, I have been watching the show from the get go and you keep delivering. Just wanted to let you know the share this icon finally worked for me this week. After weeks of disappointment I can finally share it from your nifty little button.

  2. Hi Gregg,

Thanks for your patience. Technology is very frustrating sometimes, even the simplest things can get screwed up sometimes!

Thanks for using the little green button!

    Regards

  3. Andrew, great tip about the postcards! I was just about to launch a direct mail sequence and postcards were a big part of it. I’m now going to go back and use the jumbo postcards! I’ve used them in another business with great results but didn’t even think of it this time around! Thanks for reminding me and showing how the prospect looks at it when they receive it.

Also, I’m super-excited about my 3 months of Microwave Marketing!!! I can’t wait!

    Best,
    John
