    I enjoy your videos. Here’s a recent story for you. We were looking at putting a new roof on our house. We got three quotes, but the last one was from a man who showed us why we didn’t really need a new roof this year. He suggested waiting a year and looking at the roof again. We saved his number and will call him next year.

    On a personal note. I was shopping once in a music store and noticed a gentleman that looked confused. I stopped to help him purchase what I thought were very good instructional books for guitar and told him tips for his learning.

    When he later discovered I was a teacher, he ended up taking lessons from me.

    I am really enjoying all your shows each week. I had to LOL at your portrayal of Disneyland graphics this week in the Big Lessons from Big Brands segment. I’m wondering - is there voiceover in the part sound this week? - I noticed that during the “Ask Andrew” segment your lips seem to not match the sound.

    We’re still tweaking the techy stuff behind the scenes, trying various things. The problem is that with so many browser and screen sizes and configurations it’s extremely difficult to get it looking perfect for everyone. Thanks for the comment though, I appreciate all the feedback.

  9. The message in your video is great. About helping people over just trying to sell them something. I think one of the reasons my business is successful is because I never put money or greed over people. Im a firm believer in the principle that everything you do will come back to you. Helping people is the Key to life.

  11. Oh, and I managed to finally stop the tape at 1:50/1:51 to see the realty sale/open-house signs. I’m not sure of their purpose for the show, other than practically forcing OCD people like myself to spend 5 minutes trying to pause the show when it pops, but it gave me a great idea - I sell nutritional products as part of my business and have no signage attracting patients’ eyes to what we have to offer them - they usually only notice the the supplements if I happen to mention them at the scheduling desk. I will be implementing some attractive signage over the weekend! Although this is most likely something I should have done last year, it’s never too late to reap the benefits of a great idea. Thanks!

Hi Andrew - my experience of being helped instead of being sold to: I was astonished recently when a friendly young sales guy at my mobile phone service provider told me about a CHEAPER contract that would give me all the features I wanted. He happily helped me to transfer my previous, more expensive contract to the cheaper one. Amazing! Oh, and I love your show!

  14. Hey Andrew,
    You mean to tell me that I spent 10 minutes trying to capture the subliminal frame between 1:51-1:52 for nothing! Whats worse is that I’m in real estate, so the picture looks like my garage closet! I thought you were telling me to clean it up. However, I do think you’ve got something here…I now have your voice in my head saying “so he’s going to get my business and the business of other people” since I heard it 50 times while trying to capture the frame. I think you should do this every show and tie it in to some kind of contest or game. Seriously, great show(s) I ordered the microwave marketing and can’t wait to get started.
