I wonder where he bought his domain names. Did he use something like GoDaddy, or is there a wholesaler where you get domain names for less?

People don’t want to have to remember which extension follows a brand name. We’d all like it better if we only had to remember what’s before the extension. That’s why .com will be “king” for a while longer, I predict.
I also wonder about people knowingly or unwittingly buying a trademarked brand name with a different extension. Potential recipe for disaster!

This is a great story but just like the gold rush of Alaska a century ago, the domain name gold rush is over. Yes, it is possible to make money but you can also go to Alaska now and find some gold but it might not be worth your time. It’s funny how these types of books are written after most of the money is made and never during the gold rush.
Also, while you can make money on ebay without actually having a product, you’ll be hard pressed to make a living at it or making it worth your while.
