I liked that it was “dumbed down” a bit since some of those “large” words can at times be a little difficult to understand. I have to agree with Gunderson, investing in what you know is a lot smarter than “pray and spray.” It seems obvious, but sometimes you actually have to hear it from someone else for it to sound sane.

This was a really great interview. In this economy, especially, it is difficult to start a business when you don’t have the money, but most importantly the motivation. This video made me realize that purpose and passion are really important when taking the leap and starting your own business. Without those two things you are doomed to fail. Garret had some really great financial advice that could easily be translated into a small business or even one more established.
