  1. Hey Andrew,

Sorry to say it but it’s another disappointing show. Is this a knock on from the “break” you had? Did you just do a group of self promotional interviews with some buddies to save you the effort? I can’t even see what we were meant to get out of this. Can you summarise the benefits?

Please get back to the old format where you were actually helping the subscribers with some great content and insights.

    Thanks Joe

  2. aol’hell IE special version, does not
open you / enable your web site

  3. Joe, you’re being too hard on Andrew. What are you expecting? If you want to learn about certain things, just google it. Want more traffic-google it. Want marketing advice-google it. The good thing too is that you’ll get better advice from those masters. Read the disclaimer at the end of the video. Andrew is in the entertainment business and not an actual business adviser. What do you think “internet marketing” is???????

  4. Joe,

For me, the ‘just in time learning’ concept was a major help in my business. Since recording that interview, it’s helped me cope with information overload.

I encourage you to watch the episode with an open mind, taken notes, and evaluate your own business in the context of what’s being shared.

If you don’t get anything from the episode I can guarantee you that that’s not the case with most people. I like to vary the show from time to time. The old format has not gone away, I just had the opportunity to do some more in depth interviews for a change.

    Regards

    Andrew

  5. Dear Andrew:

    Never heard of this show.

    Thanks for the tip.

I will listen to it from now on.

    Thanks!

  6. Bruce Brodeen says:

I *love* the mixing it up w/ the format – it’s not a matter of the template you’ve used becoming stale, either – but it’s a good thing to condition one’s audience to absorb things that are different w/ a balance.

If you did not two shows in a row in this format, maybe few would have noticed – or cared. I had zero problem w/ it.

    Why?

It’s always, always interesting *and* helpful to have gain insight into what other successful people have done because it’s makes your own learning more effective and can have an accelerating effect. I’m looking for just ONE little nugget in this kind of format.

It’s simple mirroring and if you are a business owner and you are not looking to mirror aspect of others’ success and figure out what could work in your own business – guess what? Your ability to sustain your own success is greatly diminished and the odds start stacking against you when you become overly tactical and don’t get into the mind’s of how other successful people approach their markets and why.

This format? Keep it in the mix! That said, Andrew, Joe’s comment brings up a possibility: you could interject one or two elements of the template into this format – a break the middle and/or at the end. (keeps people more engaged, possibly…) That may work better and keep a higher percentage of viewers happy.

  7. One day I would like to do the interviews like you do, Andrew, the viewers can learn differently.
Your information is phenomenal, like you said on the pre-show video “He knew too much!”

  8. This show is for the business bottom feeders.

  9. sorry to say this, but i agree with Joe

  10. Roberto – Huh?

  11. Hi Andrew,
It’s fine doing interviews, I think there’s one thing you might improve on. The questions are fairly long and the speed is low.
    Bye, Erwin.

  12. I always enjoy hearing business owners share about “how they did it”. When they are telling their story to a true friend, you feel like you are getting insights that they wouldn’t share with just anyone. I enjoyed this interview for the intimacy it suggested. Andrew, keep bringing on friends and fellow marketers whom you value and trust for us to learn from.

    Thanks!

  13. Interesting to read all the comments. I thought it was a good interview. I listened to the whole show, possibly because I am trying to start a podcast myself. This person was more genuine than some of the others, and I enjoyed it.
Not chock-full of info and tips like the other shows, but it was interesting just the same. Thanks.

  14. Interesting idea.

  15. no new episode ? ;(

  16. Hi Folks,

I’ve got the flu, so no new episode this week, sorry ;(

    Andrew

  17. Oh, so all the best and thanks !

My 5th book on business will be out in mid-March and I’m looking for interviews. It’s called “90 Days to Success as a Small Business Owner”. This is a very timely subject because of all the corporate layoffs and cutbacks in the recent 2 years. The book is for current business owners, new business startups and those that have always wanted to own a business of their own. I am usually available 24/7 for interviews and would love to take questions from callers. I have 5 published business books and another coming later this year. I have started, operated and survived in over 20 small businesses, several at the same time. I would love to schedule an interview and share my knowledge with your listeners. Here is a link to the book on Amazon and the publisher will send you a review copy if you request it. http://www.amazon.com/Days-Success-Small-Business-Owner/dp/1435459261%3FSubscriptionId%3D182KAN5F8G7WZ59QM982%26tag%3Dwwwcontechsco-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3D1435459261
